As our exciting $290+ million Capital Improvement Program continues, there may be some inconvenience to the public. The renovation of the interior and exterior of the terminal is underway. This means that ticket counters and various services may be relocated either temporarily or permanently. Different areas of the terminal may be isolated from public access to ensure confinement of construction work. Signage will direct passengers to the nearest available services, while areas are closed or services are relocated, due to construction progress.
Please check the MSY website, when making travel plans through Armstrong International, for any modernization updates and always check our new Flight Information Display System to verify the location of your gate for your flight. Gates may not always be the same for recurring flights. The public’s need for a modernized airport is being fulfilled. We are committed to changing our airport for the better, both inside and out.
There are 5 projects in the procurement phase totaling over $47M. These projects include the Expansion of Taxiway G (Phases 1 & 2) and the Perimeter Security Fence Replacement.
