PROJECT SCOPE
Project Name: AIRPORT
TERMINAL
INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE IV
(Federal funds
are not involved in this project.)
The
work of the project consists of the following:
- Finish and FF&E renovation of the main concourses and
ticketing areas and associated public spaces.
- Work includes demolition of floor, wall and ceiling finishes as
well as reconfiguration of ticketing areas.
- All contractors and subcontractors working on
this project will need to have certain portions (if not all) of the workforce
possessing security badges to access the work area.
SLDBE
GOAL
The
New Orleans Aviation Board has established a State and Local Disadvantaged
Business Enterprise (SLDBE) participation goal of at least 35.08% on this contract.
Bids
may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the bid
opening. The City will not accept or
consider bids delivered by fax, or by e-mail, at any other location or past the
deadline.

A deposit
of $450.00 is required. Deposits on the
first set of documents furnished bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded
upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids.
On other sets of documents the deposit less actual cost of reproduction,
will be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after
receipt of bids.
A mandatory
pre-bid conference will be held in the Aviation Board Room on the mezzanine
level, above Concourse C, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International
Airport on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.
