Request for Qualifications for Professional Services
AIRPORT LAND USE & DEVELOPMENT
Solicitation No.: RFQ 8910-01230
Request for Qualifications: The City of New Orleans (the "City”) by and through the New Orleans Aviation Board ("NOAB”) desires to obtain Airport Land Use & Development.
As provided below, and incident to Federal Aviation Administration
("FAA”) Advisory Circular 150/5100-14D as may be amended from time to
time, City Charter Section 6-308(5) and Executive Order MJL 10-05, the
City by and though the NOAB requests qualifications from experienced
firms to provide the needed services.
Description:
NOAB desires to engage a qualified, experienced independent consultant who will develop a plan that protects existing investments, increases revenue, identifies new investments, and contributes to comprehensive long-term planning at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

Pre-Submittal Conference: A non-mandatory pre-submittal conference concerning this RFQ will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 9:00 AM
at the Hilton New Orleans Airport, 901 Airline Drive, Kenner, LA 70062.
Airport Staff will be available at this meeting to answer questions
about this RFQ. Attendance at this pre-submittal conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
DBE Participation: The NOAB has set a federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of at least 33.33% for this contract.
Submittal Delivery:
Applicants shall submit the following to the Department of
Finance/Bureau of Purchasing, Attention: Chief Procurement Officer
(CPO), City Hall, 1300 Perdido St., Room 4W07, New Orleans, LA 70112 not
later than January 20, 2012, 4:00 PM.
Offeror shall provide one (1) original plus ten (10) hard copies of the qualification statement in a sealed envelope, marked Airport Land Use & Development and one (1) digitally signed qualification statement in Microsoft Word format or as a PDF file, marked Airport Land Use & Development.
